Catfished

Catfished

You’ve seen the show and heard the stories, this won’t happen on here because we have authentic locals on our chat lines. Catfish or getting catfished is when you are talking to someone on the internet or a phone chat line and they pretend to be someone they are not or pretend to be someone else. They use fake pictures, fake names, fake everything. Once a person discovers that the person is fake it is called getting “catfished.”

Catfishing is an online dating term that found its way into the mainstream, thanks to the TV show and a movie. These setups typically don’t tend to well. But until you actually meet up, maybe try to get really know more about the person on our local chat lines. Maybe have them send you a live video or take the conversation to a live video chat.

You can usually tell if someone is lying when they become hesitant or resistant to do a live video before meeting up, if they are resistant then they are probably catfishing you. In that case just pick up your phone and try another call on the local chat lines, there are plenty of fish in the chat line seas. If you do get catfished it may be a good idea to go over everything you did with that caller on our chat lines so it doesn’t happen again. Remember what you said, how each call went and ask yourself if there were any tell tale signs that this person was a phony.
